The NFL insider claims that “everyone knows” the Packers don’t trust Jordan Love to be starting quarterback. The Packer’s love for Aaron Rodgers is well documented, but how does this factor into the team’s decision making?
The “jordan love predictions” is a rumor that has been circulating for quite some time. The NFL Insider claims that “everyone knows” the Packers don’t trust Jordan Love and will be looking to go outside of the organization for their backup quarterback.
When the Green Bay Packers chose Jordan Love in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, there were plenty of worries about the team’s future. On paper, it seemed as though the Packers were getting ready to trade Aaron Rodgers for Love.
Rodgers, on the other hand, shattered this strategy by winning back-to-back league MVP awards in 2020 and 2021. Under Rodgers, the Packers have unable to achieve sustained playoff success. The piles of regular-season victory, on the other hand, are difficult to ignore. For the last two seasons, Rodgers has been the finest regular-season quarterback in the NFL.
Now that worries over Rodgers’ future have resurfaced, it looks like Green Bay is reconsidering its original Love strategy.
According to an NFL source, “everyone knows” the Packers no longer trust in Jordan Love.
Everyone in the league knows that GB does not believe in love.
Dealing with him now would provide a little profit. Pick for the third day late.

The cat is out of the bag when it comes to the Packers’ lack of faith in Love going forward, according to Denver Broncos writer and insider Benjamin Albright (who is well-connected around the NFL).
“Everyone knows” Green Bay “doesn’t believe in Love,” according to Albright. He goes on to say that Love isn’t attracting any trade interest in the NFL. Due to a lack of league-wide interest, Albright believes Green Bay would only get a Day 3 selection in return for the young quarterback.
It’s unclear what caused Green Bay to rapidly turn against Love. Albright, on the other hand, doesn’t mince words. The Packers have lost trust in the man many expected to succeed Rodgers.
What caused Jordan Love’s stock to plummet so quickly?

Most analysts and pundits pegged Love as a very raw talent leading up to the 2020 Draft. He had all of the physical characteristics and talents necessary to be an NFL starting quarterback. His inexperience, accuracy, and ability to read a defense, on the other hand, left a lot to be desired.
Many believed Love would be more successful as a player if he spent a year on the bench studying an NFL offense. In 2017, the Kansas City Chiefs adopted a same technique with Patrick Mahomes.
Love’s high-potential character is ultimately what drew Green Bay to him. It might, however, be the explanation for his present lack of popularity. Behind Rodgers, Love has had two years to study and improve. That’s alarming if he hasn’t progressed as a passer.
For what it’s worth, Love’s lone start against the Chiefs in 2021 was not very remarkable.
What’s next for the Green Bay Packers?
The pendulum has certainly shifted back in favor of Rodgers in the continuing Packers-Rodgers power dynamic.
He’s a future Hall of Famer who has won the MVP award in back-to-back seasons. Green Bay is the club that doesn’t have faith in its young quarterback.
If the Packers want to keep Rodgers this summer, they’ll have to demonstrate their devotion to him by upgrading the roster around him. When you consider that the club is already $50 million above the salary limit, this becomes incredibly difficult (Over The Cap).
Regardless of their lack of faith in Love, Green Bay may be forced to live with the repercussions of their decision.
